My first time again, write a blog. My previous blog was stuck. I was feeling bored to post things that the same again and again. Yah, karena hampir semuanya gak begitu berguna untuk orang lain dan maklum dulu masanya masih labil. :P Insyaa Allah, it is different, because I want to share about my job experience here. Even though I just have "one" experience for now. I expect it will grow and becomes "a lot". Aamiin
Ookay, now I study in UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, 5th year student. Insyaa Allah it will be clear on March 31, 2015. Jurusan Teknik Kimia, dan pengen banget kerja di Oil & Gas Company.
I did apply my resume to PT. Bekaert INA this February. I've started prepare this before I graduate because I know, to seek a job is too hard. My GPA now is 3,54 and it is not enough to stay and wait a job calmly at home after graduate. Kecuali memang IPK yang perfect banget, mungkin bukan mencari tapi sudah dicari duluan. So, gak ada salahnya coba nyicil apply dari sekarang.
Untuk apply-nya melalui ECC ITB, aku apply bagian process engineer di PT. Bekaert INA ini. Sebelumnya aku pernah apply untuk program internship, tapi udah gak lolos bagian administrasi.
February 16, I've got a text from PT. Bekaert to attend a test at ITB on February 18. Dikatakan, tes yang akan diikuti adalah tes matematika dasar dan ketelitian gambar. I was so excited. Honestly, I knew PT. Bekaert is a wire and steel industry but I did not know it is soo big company from Belgium. And its products are used by all countries in Europe. Cool, huh?!
Before attend this test, I convinced myself "it's my first, so take it easy, be grateful whatever the result is". :) So, I could join the test freely.
About the test, actually it was not difficult and simple. Mungkin, karena I feel pressure di ruangan itu, kadang hal-hal simple pun jadi dilupakan. Untuk sekedar share, tes matematika dasar yang kita ikuti itu bukan sekedar tes matematika like 1+1 equals 2, tapi soal matematika logika. Misalnya,
1. Menghitung luas daerah arsiran
2. KPK dan FPB, still remember?
3. Ex: 2x+y=8 and x=0, y?
4. Peluang, it is my weakness deathly
Yah, seperti itu lah kira-kira. I could not remember the simple things anymore after sucking in campus situation. Haha.. But, it was still great experience for me, who never attend a job test. Hehe
Yap, extremely grateful for this experience. And in the future I will try and try and try again, never ever ever give up, still be grateful about the result, and learn more from this first experience to reach the top.
Oya kalau untuk tes ketelitian gambar sendiri, itu seperti psikotes biasa yang menebak lanjutan gambar yang saling berhubungan. Ini sudah sering kok dikeluarkan saat tes snmptn atau tes2 masuk kuliah dulu. :)
At least, I failed in this first test. From 192 participants, only 14 participants could pass the first test. And they called to attend second test (FGD) at the same time. So envy!
